The Lakeside Park Hotel due to open June 2008 is a brand new luxurious hotel set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with 17 acres of countryside and 20 acres of lake, located off the main A3054 road between Ryde and Newport at Wootton Bridge.
The Hotel is being built to AA 4 star standards and will be the Isle of Wight's first purpose built 4 star hotel. It will have contemporary lifestyle interiors, with a whole host of facilities to meet the increasing high quality demands of visitors to the Island.
The Hotel has two restaurants overlooking the lake, an a la carte and a brasserie, serving top quality cuisine made with seasonal local produce.
The large open plan resident's lounge overlooks the tranquil lake where you can relax and watch the visiting wildlife.
A very important part of the Hotel will be it's ambience and therefore it will be licensed to hold civil ceremonies and will offer a fabulous location for weddings.
The business market will embrace the new facilities for conferences, board meetings and private functions.
Cycle tracks and Nature walks through woodland or alongside the lake will be enjoyed direct from the hotel as well as a link up to an impressive network of bridalways and footpaths throughout the Island. There will be a superb range of 45 ensuite rooms and for those who wish to stay for a special break they will be able to select one of the spectacular luxurious suites.
