Fine dining that's a feast for the senses

The Lakeside Park Hotel bar, brasserie and a fine dining restaurant have been designed to reflect the natural tones and relaxing mood of the beautiful Isle of Wight. The hotel brasserie and restaurant benefit from an open environment with contemporary decor providing a unique space in which to relax and enjoy a fine dining experience.

Oyster Room (Closed December and January)

The Lakeside Park Hotel restaurant has an effortlessly chic yet classically comfortable ambience for fine dining with the emphasis on formality, light and lakeland views. The exciting menu is expertly created by our Head Chef, Gary Cooke to ensure all tastes are catered for, and always using the very best seasonal Isle of Wight produce.

Gary has worked in some of the finest hotels up and down the country, coming to us from the 5 star Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath.

Gary joined Lakeside Park Hotel in early 2011 as Sous Chef and has quickly settled into the team. Bringing with him excellent knowledge and ideas he has quickly progressed to become Head Chef.

He finds inspiration from local produce and likes to add some "home comfort" twists now and then. "It's good to use local ingredients as it builds rapport with neighbouring suppliers and shows support in the local area". Gary likes to introduce complex matches executed in a simple no fuss way.

"The Oyster Room is a beautiful, modern fine dining room with views across the Lake. I have created a total dining experience with a menu that offers modern European cuisine with contemporary twists that will wow the diner".

Bar & Brasserie

The stylish Brasserie is the central hub of the hotel and is designed to provide an informal and relaxing setting to enjoy views of the lake and imaginative all-day menus. On warm summer days visitors and guests can choose either the air-conditioned bar and brasserie or alfresco dining on our lakeside terrace. The bar provides a choice of imaginative cocktails, and a wide range of fine wines and beers.

Add zest to your private function or event with exciting dishes created especially for you by our experienced team, ideal for weddings, gala dinners, buffets, private parties or special occasions.

Private dining

The Mallard and Cygnet Rooms allow luxury private dining for 12 people and are available for private dinners, lunches and business meetings.
